Kitchen Addition Project

This addition and remodel was completed in Cockeysville, MD.

When we began talking with this client about the project, their priority was clear: people. They explained that, as regular hosts for parties, functions and large groups of friends and colleagues, their main goal was to create an open and inviting space for their guests.

This two-story addition included a finished basement on the bottom level and a brand new kitchen on the second floor.  With spaciousness in mind, we created long, clean lines and opened up the room with cathedral ceilings.  Windows and skylights were added to allow natural light to pour in and a French door was installed, leading to a custom-built deck.

Since the kitchen was all about entertaining, we designed it with designated food prep areas and abundant countertop space. We also created a custom desk so the family could work out of the kitchen if need be.

Quality was in mind when it came to appliances. Top-notch components were important,  and the family was extremely pleased with the installation of a Dacor cooktop and Miele dishwasher.  The expanded, airy kitchen was complimented by beautiful maple cabinetry and hardwood flooring.
